Self Seal Tag - 8.2 MHz

These widely-used security tags combine an alarming element or circuit within a plastic "Security Protected" over wrap sealing the product as well as causing it to activate an alarm at the exit if removed from a store without deactivation. 100 million units per annum are used in retail to protect items such as CDs, DVDs, perfume and boxed items. The Self Seal Tag can also be customised with specific warnings or brands.

The Self Seal Label™ is used to protect items from theft by using a plastic overwrap, printed with the words "Security Protected". The Self Seal Label RF is used to seal the consumer product in its packaging. The Self Seal Label appears the same as the Self Seal Tag but has no active EAS element.
